GRAU DATA XtreemStore

Scalable Object Store Software
with S3 interface for tape

The highly scalable object store archive software eliminates the limitations of traditional hierarchical storage management (HSM) in file systems and archives data locally or in the cloud on tape media via an S3 interface. XtreemStore also features a Windows- and Linux-based file system interface.

XtreemStore is based on recognized market standards such as TAR containers and the LTFS file format.

An integrated NoSQL database enables the management of billions of objects. A distributed computing architecture enables horizontal scalability while maintaining reliability. XtreemStore is ideal for use both on-premises in the company’s own data center and as a scalable, remote archiving system for managed service providers (MSPs).

Open standards

LTFS and TAR ensure that your data remains accessible and your data storage is future-proof.

Modern interfaces

In addition to the standard S3 Glacier interface, an optional HSM file system based on Windows and Linux is available as a frontend. XtreemStore also features a Data Rest API that applications can use to read and write data to and from XtreemStore. This Data Rest API description is available upon request.

Simplified management

Tape storage is simplified by reducing the complexity typically associated with it.

Whether as a standalone archiving solution or as a complement to a 3-to-1 backup strategy, XtreemStore offers unparalleled scalability, data security, and storage efficiency.
