EFFICIENTNODES backs up, archives, and migrates files from existing storage systems, independent of the existing storage infrastructure and independent of existing applications. The solution can be easily integrated into existing workflows and processes. ArchiveNodes map corresponding active performance chains (chained processes) (e.g., from hard disk to hard disk, then to the cloud or another data center). By connecting to S3-to-tape solutions, EFFICIENTNODES allows data to be stored on tape.

EFFICIENTNODES is ideal for long-term storage and/or backup of large amounts of data. Parallel streaming allows many TB of files to be written quickly and reliably from primary storage systems to long-term storage or backup systems.
The integrated S3 interface allows data to be migrated quickly and reliably to the private cloud. Furthermore, the solution can be seamlessly integrated into the PoINT Archival Gateway and GRAU DATA XtreemStore systems. This makes it possible to store data on tape via the standardized S3 interface.
Due to its functionality, EFFICIENTNODES is ideally suited for migrating and backing up NAS systems. For one-time NAS-to-NAS migrations, it is possible to lease the solution for the duration of the migration.

EFFICIENTNODES is tested and certified with GRAU DATA XtreemStore and the PoINT Archival Gateway. Tape information can be displayed and file statuses read in the EFFICIENTNODES interface.
